The Kennebunk High School Athletic Department services over 800 individual
student participants in the school year with a diverse offering of 24 sport
teams covering 49 levels. We are proud members of the Southwestern Maine
Activities Association which is comprised of the 16 class A schools in Western
Maine. This classification is made up of the largest schools in Western Maine
geographically located from Marshwood High School in the south to Windham High
School in the north. We are members of the Maine Principals Association and
governed by the rulings of the National Federation of High School Associations.
There are 51 paid coaching positions at the high school and our staff includes
our administrative assistant, trainer, equipment manager and the director of
athletics. We are supported in our efforts by the field maintenance team as
well as the custodial staff at Kennebunk High School.
Our belief is that young people participating in our programs will obtain
knowledge of their sport, be respected and respectful of others as well as
accept the outcomes of contests with dignity.
