CONTRACTS - TEACHERS

After a probationary period of two years, a continuing contract will be offered a duly certified teacher only if the teacher has clearly demonstrated success, as well as a likelihood of continued success, in all aspects of performance.  The first contract of a continuing contract teacher will be for two years and automatically extended for one year in subsequent years, unless the teacher is given written notice of non-renewal at least six months before the terminal date of the contract.

Contracts between the Board of School Directors and the teachers shall be signed and returned to the Superintendent of Schools within fifteen days after receipt of the contracts or they shall be void.
