VISITORS TO SCHOOL PREMISES
Any person seeking to visit the buildings or grounds of any school within the District, except during times when the school building or grounds involved are open to the public at large, shall first request permission from the building Principal of the school or premises which the prospective visitor seeks to visit. The prospective visitor shall inform the building Principal of the specific purpose of the visit. The building principal may deny access to the school building or grounds of the school to any person whose visit, in the judgment of the building Principal, is not related to the education of the students or will interfere with the operation of the school, the educational environment, or the education, health, safety or well-being of the students. The building Principal may also limit the scope of a persons visit to include only those activities that, in the judgment of the building Principal, are related to the education of students and will not interfere with the operation of the school, the educational environment, or the education, health, safety or well-being of students. Any person who fails to abide by the decision of the building Principal to deny access to school premises or to limit the scope of a visit will be immediately reported to local enforcement authorities.
