The employees of the Transportation Department are some of the most important
in the district. Not only do they strive for safely delivering students to
and from school, they are the first and the last to see most of our students
each day.
The Transportation Department currently has forty staff members including bus
aides, drivers, mechanics and office personnel. Last year we drove
approximately 480,000 miles covering athletic, field trips and daily routes.
There are 34 vehicles in our present fleet.
Our entire staff is excited about each school year and looks forward to
serving the students in MSAD#71 each day.
